Flowing waters are in close interaction with their surroundings: interventions in the water bodies have an impact on the landscape, and vice versa, changes in the landscape influence the water bodies. The example of the Bad Lippspringe – Paderborn – Schloss Neuhaus area is intended to illustrate this interplay.
